Although we often combine our qualitative skills with appropriate online or telephone (CATI) based interviewing, we believe that the power of human dialogue produces the deeper insights that quantitative, numeric focused surveys on their own cannot.

Activity: Review of current mental health strategy, qualitative discussions with selected staff, online measurement of attitudes towards mental health in the workplace.

Outputs: Further development of company policy, delivery of training workshops for senior and mid level management. Local mental health charity retained as an easily accessible therapy resource.

Evaluation of marketing communications

Sector: Airports
Client(s): Air traffic control company

Activity: In depth consultations (lasting 60 minutes) with UK airport Operations Managers/Directors.

Outputs: Detailed analysis of current challenges faced by airports, generally and with regard to ATC; media channels most used; impressions of ATC providers; analysis of client’s performance. Closer to Customers was a subcontractor on this project.

Client(s): Shipping company

Activity: In depth consultations (lasting 60 minutes) with logistics directors in food and drink companies in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Outputs: Detailed analysis of the differing needs of customers in the sector; detailed breakdown of current arrangements and pressure points in the delivery journey. Client able to shape it’ Closer to Customers was a subcontractor on this project.
